The stillness of the house is broken with the predominant curved lines in the attachment. The wooden portico, the concrete, the new plants, and the rustic wood furniture create this intervention. Color is present in the living room's cushions and in the Acapulco chairs.

The program of this intervention includes a dining room, a TV room, a sunken lounge, and a firepit.

Inspired by the great Bacchanalias–with a main table in its center and other tables working as a complement, this restaurant-bar pretends to become a getaway from all of the city's noise.

Col. Juárez, CDMX

Away from the noise and bathed in the city lights, the back patio of an old house in Zona Rosa becomes the main space of this restaurant. Cicero offers an open view to its diners. Its highlights are its natural environment with vegetation, exposed concrete, rustic wood furniture, and a tree in the very center that leads to the main bar.

This redesign focuses on the main room of a house that recreates the sensation of being in an art gallery with the objects of a New York loft.

The entire space is covered in exposed concrete and with walnut boards on the floor, producing elegance from their counterpoint. Special furniture was designed for the space, allowing the exhibition of relics, traveling souvenirs, and memories under dim lights that create a cozy and intimate ambiance.

Right in the heart of Colonia Roma, a courtyard connects galleries, a dance academy, and an amphitheater, creating a cultural complex.

YEAR: 2015

Col. Roma, CDMX

The three five-story bodies connected through a courtyard host a hotel, amphitheater, urban vegetable garden, gallery, cafe, and a restaurant. The complex was conceived as a lighthouse that fulfills the needs of promotion and education in the arts and trades. The courtyard and the roof garden foster a place of exchange, a public space that lacks in the city.

A line pattern on the floor and ceiling create a visual play in the space, which clashes with the Interlomas woods.

The floor is covered in an Oxford gray marble with segments that project on the lighting lines of the ceiling. The inside walls are covered with a perimeter wood paneling that hides the doors to the other areas of the apartment. In the middle of the main hall, ironwork panels work both as decorative and dividing lattice that allow the manipulation of privacy. The furniture and objects not only complement the space, but they also bring color into the apartment.

Exposed installations, polished concrete floors, wood paneling walls, black ironwork for the floor-to-ceiling windows, and hanging lamps follow the trend to bring a homey environment into the office in order to encourage productivity.
